Boxer Colitis

Boxer Colitis Treatment Cost: $75 to $100

What is Boxer Colitis?

This painful condition involves an inflammation of the inner lining of the intestine. While the cause for the condition in most dogs is often whipworms or fungal infections, boxers are highly susceptible to the condition for unknown reasons. The breed is prone to deep ulcers throughout the intestine, suffering from colitis so frequently that the canine condition has taken on the boxer name.

Constipation is a symptom in milder cases, while more severe cases may include diarrhea, vomiting and loss of appetite.

Boxer Colitis Treatment
